Connected outside the home at the meter base or inside at the service panel, these devices will protect your home's major electromechanical appliances, such as refrigerators, washing machines, dishwashers, etc. They are not designed to prevent surges to microprocessor-based equipment such as computers.

The devices carry a 15-year manufacturer's warranty. If the device is damaged by a surge, the manufacturer offers a free replacement within the warranty period. If any major appliance protected by the device is damaged, the manufacturer offers a connected-equipment warranty for repair or replacement of the appliance.

This unit can be purchased separately or Adams Electric can provide installation of the device and testing for proper grounding.
