As a member of Adams Electric Cooperative, you and a guest are invited to attend one of four member (zone) meetings scheduled in March. At the meeting of your choosing, you will enjoy a meal while meeting candidates running for election to the co-op’s board of directors. Also, you will be able to talk with employees of Adams Electric, hear more about the future of electric rates and be introduced to the co-op’s newest member benefit, the Co-op Connections Card — all in an informal, “town hall” format.

Note: In 2010, Adams Electric is consolidating the zone meetings to sites that accommodate more members in one location, permit more exhibit space, allow greater audio/visual support during the meetings, and help realize greater efficiencies in the use of the co-op’s resources.

Fill in the requested information on the reservation form in this month's Penn Lines magazine, including selecting a meeting date and location. Mail your reservation form — at least 14 days prior to the meeting date — to: Adams Electric, 1338 Biglerville Road, P.O. Box 1055, Gettysburg, PA 17325-1055.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with energy specialists available to answer your energy-efficiency questions, and exhibits. Reserve your seat now Reservations are taken on a first-come basis, and space is limited. No extra meals will be sold. If the meeting you request is filled, you will be notified of available seating at another location. All meetings begin at 6 p.m. sharp.

ADAMS COUNTY: Abbottstown, Arendtsville, Bonneauville, Carroll Valley and Littlestown boroughs, plus Berwick, Butler, Conewago, Cumberland, Franklin, Freedom, Germany, Hamilton, Hamiltonban, Highland, Huntingdon, Latimore, Liberty, Menallen, Mt. Joy, Mt. Pleasant, Oxford, Reading, Straban, Tyrone and Union townships.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY: Newburg, Newville and Shippensburg boroughs, plus Dickinson, Hopewell, Lower Frankford, Lower Mifflin, North Newton, North Middleton, Southampton, South Middleton, South Newton, Upper Frankford, Upper Mifflin, and West Pennsboro townships.
