Headquartered in Gettysburg, Adams Electric is a Touchstone Energy cooperative that incorporates the principles of integrity, accountability, innovation and commitment to community. Touchstone Energy is a national alliance of nearly 650 electric cooperatives that emphasize high standards of customer service and energy innovation.

Our subsidiary, Aero Energy, provides propane, heating fuels and diesel fuel to residential and commercial accounts in a growing territory that includes south-central Pennsylvania and parts of Maryland.

The cooperative has 85 full-time employees and over 3,000 miles of electric distribution line. Members elect a nine-member board of directors to set policy and guide the direction of the cooperative. Adams Electric offers members financing and special electric rates on preferred electric home heating and cooling systems. Members are also offered rebates on electric water heaters and access to surge protection equipment.

The cooperative has local district offices in Gettysburg, Shippensburg and York where members may obtain more information about products and services available through their cooperative and pay their monthly electric bills. Bills may also be paid by mail and through an electronic direct payment plan. Line and equipment maintenance and new service construction work is coordinated by the district offices.
